- 1) Mr Chahal undertakes a course accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority on the Solicitors Code of Conduct within 3 months of the date of notification of this decision and provides confirmation of the completion of the course (in the form of a certificate or letter of attendance from the course provider) at such course within 4 months of notification of this decision.
- 2) Should Mr Chahal hold client monies, he delivers half yearly Accountant’s Reports, such Reports and any Cease to Hold Report required, to be delivered within 2 months of the end of the period to which they relate.
Reasons/basis
Pursuant to Regulation 6.1 (d) of the SRA Practising Regulations 2009, it is in the interests of the public and conducive to the carrying on of efficient practice that Mr Chahal is required to attend the training specified at paragraph 1 above.
The conditions specified at paragraph 2 above will facilitate closer monitoring by the SRA of compliance by Mr Chahal with rules and regulations pursuant to Regulation 6.1(e) of the SRA Practising Regulations 2009.
