To grant Mr Adeniran a practising certificate (2008/2009) subject to the conditions 1. with immediate effect he is not to act as an advocate in any criminal proceedings or give advice in criminal law matters nor may act as a solicitor in any immigration matters; 2.should he hold client monies he delivers half yearly accountant's reports, such reports and any cease to hold report required, to be delivered within 2 months of the end of the period to which they relate. 3.he undertakes a course accredited by the SRA on the Solicitors' Code of Conduct 2007, within 4 months of the date of notification of this decision and provides confirmation of his attendance (in the form of a certificate or letter of attendance from the course provider) at such a course within 6 months of this decision.
Reasons/basis
The Adjudicator was satisfied that the conditions imposed at First Instance were necessary and reasonable, even having regard to the possible consequences for Mr Adeniran, for the purposes set out in the SRA Practising Regulations 2009, at REG 6.1 (a),(d),(e) & (f).
