The Committee was satisfied that grounds for intervention existed under paragraphs 1 (1) (a), (d) and (m) of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Solicitors Act 1974 (as amended).
It has decided that there is reason to suspect dishonesty on the part of the firm’s former employee; that the partners have been adjudicated bankrupt on 30 April 2012 in consequence there is a risk to the interest of present, former or potential clients and to the beneficiaries of any trusts to which the partners are or were trustees.
