Reasons/basis

The Authorised Officer decided that in light of Mr Akodu's regulatory history with regard to breaches of the Solicitors Accounts Rules 1998 that Mr Akodu should continue to be required to deliver half yearly accoutnant's reports until he has established a longer period of compliance with the rules.

Reasons/basis

 In making the above recommendation the Authorised Officer had regard for the purposes for imposing conditions set out in Regulation 6.1 of the SRA Practising Regulations 2009 and considered that it is necessary, appropriate and proportionate in the interests of the public that Mr Akodu is closely monitored by the SRA.
