To grant Mr Adekunle Simeon Akindele a practising certificate for the practice year 2009/2010 subject to the condition that he delivers half yearly accountant’s reports, such reports and any cease to hold report required, to be delivered within 2 months of the end of the period to which they relate.
Reasons/basis
In light of Mr Akindel's adverse regulatory history with the SRA, in particular, his recent appearance before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal on 10 September 2008 where serious breaches of the Solicitors Accounts Rules had been found against him, the SRA was satisfied that it was necessary in the interests of the public that Mr Akindele’s compliance with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules should continue to be subject to additional monitoring.
