Reasons/basis
On 12th August 2011, the Committee resolved to intervene into the practices of Zeeshan Hameed Butt (Roll No:438999) and Samina Iqbal (RFL No: 545933) formerly based at 253A Ilford Lane, Ilford, Essex, IG1 2SB and also at Suite 21, 1st Floor, 330 High Holborn Gate, High Holborn, London, WC1V 7QT on the grounds that the Committee was satisfied that:
1.There was reason to suspect dishonesty on the part of both Mr Butt and Ms Iqbal in connection with their practices;
2.Mr Butt and Ms Iqbal had failed to comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules 1998; and
3.Mr Butt and Ms Iqbal had failed to comply with the Solicitors Code of Conduct 2007.
