Reasons/basis
The Committee is satisfied that grounds for intervention exist under Paragraph 32(1)(a) of Schedule 2 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985 because a recognised body or a manager of such a body has failed to comply with rules applicable to the body or manager by virtue of section 9 of this Act.
The Committee is also satisfied that grounds for intervention exist under Paragraph 32(1)(e) of Schedule 2 of the Administration of Justice Act 1985 because it is satisfied that grounds of intervention in the incorporated practice have arisen in connection with the recognised body of City Law Financial LLP to protect the interests of clients (or former or potential clients) of the recognised body, or the interests of the beneficiaries of any trust which the recognised body is or was a trustee or the interests of the beneficiaries of any trust of which a person who is or was a manager or employee of the recognised body is or was a trustee in that person’s capacity as such a manager or employee.
