Equality and diversity strategy and action plan

We have published our first equality and diversity strategy, along with a strategic action plan that sets out the steps we need to take to ensure that equality and diversity is embedded into the culture and work of the SRA.

The SRA Board's Equality and Diversity Group is responsible for strategic oversight of the implementation of our equality and diversity strategy.

We consulted on the strategy in late 2008. A summary analysis of responses to the consultation is available.

Equality impact assessments

An equality impact assessment is a review process analysing potential or actual effects of our policies, procedures, practices, criteria and functions to determine whether they have a differential impact on any groups—such as disabled people, women, black and minority ethnic people.

We are committed to the promotion and progress of equality in all our activities. We are striving to embed equality and diversity as a core value when delivering our services.
