FAQs - qualified lawyer transfer scheme (QLTS)

Can I re-take the assessments for the new transfer scheme if I fail?

You may attempt each of the three parts of the assessments three times during the five-year validity of your certificate of eligibility.

If you fail any part of the assessments three times, you must wait until your existing certificate of eligibility expires and, then, apply for a new one. Take steps during this time to improve your results the next time around. You must arrange with the assessment organisation to re-take the assessments.
