We have a trainee who commenced their training contract under the 2011 regulations and we wish for them to be assessed under the 2014 training regulations. Can we do this?

Yes. Training contracts registered under the SRA Training Regulations 2011 and entered into on or before 30 June 2014 can be transitioned to the SRA Training Regulations 2014.

This should be a mutual agreement between you as the training provider and the trainee.

If you wish to transition a trainee you should complete the form Transition from 2011 to 2014 SRA Training Regulations.
