mySRA troubleshooting
We are aware that some customers are experiencing technical difficulties with mySRA. While we are working to resolve them, we've published a list of current issues below for your information.
Please check our FAQs about PC, registration and recognition renewal, which include help with mySRA.
Note that the problems below relate to general mySRA functionality rather than your specific account.
Current problems – Last updated 2 March 2012
I cannot view my practising certificate.
The issue is now resolved. Please wait 48 hours for the certificate to be made available in MySRA following receipt of the email confirming it has been issued.
Firefox users may have difficulty completing the renewal form.
We are aware of this issue and are working to resolve it. Firefox is not fully compatible with mySRA. We recommend that you use Internet Explorer 7 or 8.
I have added a lawyer to the organisation, but they do not appear on the renewals form.
To appear on the renewals form, the individual will need to access their "Professional Details", select "opt in for bulk PC renewal" and select your organisation as their "main practice".
Questions within the renewal form (including "Fee Earners") do not allow me to use decimal points or other characters. If you are trying to use a decimal point, please round up to the nearest whole number. Please ensure that only numbers are used, as you will not be able to proceed if you include commas.
I am subject to Regulation 3 but cannot proceed past the character and suitability section.
The text box that asks you to provide a full statement of events will only accept a maximum of 100 characters. Please select "manage your uploads" to upload a document if you wish to provide more detail.
I have left an organisation but cannot remove their details from mySRA.
To remove the details, you would normally need to select "close", however this facility is currently unavailable. Instead, please select "edit" and "end post" to reflect when you left the organisation. Note that the address of the previous organisation will remain on record, but once we have resolved this issue, you will be able to remove them.
Updating your "Find a solicitor"/Gazette address.
If you need to update your "Find a Solicitor" or Gazette details, please note there may be a delay of 3-5 weeks before any changes to your correspondence details are fully updated.
Once the problems above have been resolved, they will be removed from this list. Until this time, we are unable to assist with these specific problems. We ask you to please bear with us and appreciate your patience.
