Individual renewal application (2017/18)

The practising certificate renewals period will run from 2 to 31 October 2017

To help you get ready, here is a summary of the renewals application questions.

This tells you what your application is for and what information you need to complete.

Section 2 - Regulation 3 of the SRA Practising Regulations 2011

If you are subject to Regulation 3 of the SRA Practising Regulations, you will be asked to provide details.

Regulation 3 applies to applications following an issue such as a financial, criminal, or regulatory conduct matter.

Section 3 - Continuing competence

From 1 November 2016, you no longer needed to count CPD hours and instead will have adopted the new approach to continuing competence. This means reflecting on the quality of your practice and identifying any learning and development needs.

You will be asked: "Have you reflected on their practice and addressed any identified learning and development needs in the year to 31 October 2017?".
