How to apply
There are different forms to complete depending on the type of application. Click on the name of the application form you need for further information and guidance notes.
Form RB1 application for initial recognition of a partnership
Use Form RB1 to apply for approval of a new partnership.
Form RB2 application for initial recognition of a limited liability partnership (LLP)
Use Form RB2 to apply for approval of a new LLP to practise as a recognised body. RB2 is also the appropriate form to use for an existing recognised body to convert to LLP status.
Form RB3 application for initial recognition of a company
Use Form RB3 to apply for approval of a new company to practise as a recognised body. This is also the appropriate form to use for an existing recognised body to convert to a company.
Form RSP1 application for approval to practise as a recognised sole practitioner
Form NL1 application for approval of a non-lawyer manager
