Completing and returning forms by email

1. Complete

Printed forms

  • Download, print and manually complete the application form.

Editable forms

  • Editable forms are designed to be completed electronically in Adobe Reader 7.0 or a later version.
  • Download and save the PDF form on your computer before and after completing it.
  • Use the editable fields in the PDF to complete the form. A cursor will appear once you click on the empty fields or boxes. Note that your version of Acrobat may allow you to use the TAB key to navigate through fields.

Note - the SRA ID number is restricted to six digits in length. If your SRA ID contains fewer than six digits, it will automatically be prefixed by zeros to make it up to six digits. If your SRA ID contains more than six digits, it is probably in the old format. Please simply remove the preceding two zeros before entering into the form. If you are not sure what you SRA ID number is you can find your individual details on the Law Society's online directory of solicitors. You can also find your SRA ID number printed on your practising or registration certificate.
