Reporting and being reported
Reporting a regulated person or firm
To report a regulated person or firm, contact the Legal Ombudsman. The Legal Ombudsman acts as a point of entry. If you are reporting someone on your own behalf, the Ombudsman will send your report directly to us.
If you are reporting a client's former legal adviser or firm, the Legal Ombudsman will consider your report and may be able to direct the individual or their firm to compensate the client. If the Ombudsman considers that we need to investigate misconduct, they will refer the information to us.
