Graham Chisnall

graham-chisnellGraham joined predecessor company to British Aerospace, British Aircraft Corporation (BAC), in 1974 on their undergraduate apprenticeship programme.

He graduated with a BSc.(Hons.) in Aeronautical Engineering in 1978 and then commenced a series of Engineering and Programme Management positions in BAe’s Military Aircraft Division, culminating in Head of Corporate Strategy for the total Group.

In July 2000, Graham moved to GKN, to the newly formed Aerospace Group, as Director – Group Operations Engineering, responsible for Engineering, Technology Development and Strategy, leading onto Director - Corporate Strategy for the whole Group. In 2008 he left GKN to pursue an independent role in corporate strategy and M&A advising.

A member of the SBAC Council from 2003 to 2008, he is a long-standing Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and took over the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Engineering Development Trust (EDT) at the start of 2007.
