Ian Menzies-Conacher

Chartered accountant Ian Menzies-Conacher is a member of the Institutes of Taxation and Banking. He joined Barclays Bank in 1980 and is still with the company in a part time advisory role.

Professional bodies roles have included: Chair of British Bankers Association and member of CBI/100 Group Tax committees; representative of CBI on Business Tax Forum; UK representative on European Banking Federation Tax Committee; Chair of Chartered Institute of Taxation Technical Committee and International Tax sub-committee; Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation; London committee member of the International Fiscal Association; Court member of the Worshipful Company of Tax Advisers and member of the Tax Law Review Committee; Executive committee member of The Institute for Fiscal Studies.
