Mark Humphries

Mark Humphries qualified as a solicitor in 1986 and as a solicitor-advocate (Higher Courts, Civil) in 1994. He worked for 23 years at Linklaters, the last 16 as a litigation partner and Head of Advocacy.

He is an experienced trial advocate and has appeared in a number of reported cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal.

In 2009 he opened a specialist commercial litigation boutique firm Mark Humphries Limited. Mark has previously served as a member of The Law Society’s Rules and Ethics Committee and the Money Laundering Task Force. He has particular interests in professional ethics, advocacy and litigation funding.
