Martin Coleman

martin-colemanMartin received undergraduate and postgraduate law degrees from Oxford University and qualified as a solicitor in 1979. He spent several years as a lecturer at Brunel University where his academic specialities were public law, contract and comparative legal systems.

He joined Norton Rose in 1989 and helped start the Brussels office. He now heads the competition group at Norton Rose in which capacity he advises companies and governmental authorities on competition and regulatory issues. He is a member of the global supervisory board of Norton Rose.

Until December 2009 Martin was a member of the Legal Services Consultative Panel which was responsible for providing the Lord Chancellor & Secretary of State for Justice with advice about legal services, legal education and related matters.
