The table below provides a breakdown of those admitted in the 12 months to December 2017 and the 12 months to December 2018 by their routes to qualification.

Breakdown of routes to admission: December 2017 to November 2018

In the 12 months to December 2018, 83% of new solicitors took the Legal Practice Course. The second most popular route was to take the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme.
