'Day one outcomes' refined

The Education and Training Committee has been refining the 'day one outcomes' expected of a solicitor on qualification.
The 'day one outcomes' are important in helping to ensure that the components of academic and vocational training cover the right ground. They were developed during the Training Framework Review, and are intended to encapsulate the attributes required of solicitors at the point of qualification.
You can download a new version of the outcomes below. The new version, prefaced by a note from the committee explaining the background, does not change the substance of the previous version—but the format and drafting have been recast and simplified.
