Law Society picks new SRA Board Chair

The Law Society of England and Wales today announced the appointment of Charles Plant as chair of the SRA Board, from 1 January 2010.
SRA Chief Executive Antony Townsend said: "We very much look forward to working with Charles Plant on the SRA's challenging programme of reform."

Note
The appointments of the current SRA chair and board members end on 31 December 2009.
The current chair, Peter Williamson, announced in May that he had decided not to re-apply.
