Help just a phone call away over Christmas

Those looking for help and advice during the festive period will find the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is open for business.

Both the SRA's Contact Centre and Ethics helpline will be operating in between Christmas and the New Year for those who want have queries to put to advisors.

For the Contact Centre, advisors will be available on December 27 and 28, so the only normal working day that will not see the telephones staffed will be Monday December 24. The will be operating as normal until 18.00 on Friday, December 21.

It is no longer open on a Saturday as this was to deal with the PC Renewals exercise. Normal opening hours are 08.00 to 18.00 Monday to Friday, except Tuesday when it opens at 09.30.

The will be open from Thursday 27 December until Monday 31 December between the hours of 10.00 to 12.00 and 14.00 to 16.00. The normal helpline hours of 9.00 to 17.00 will resume on Wednesday 2 January 2013.

Anyone who needs immediate assistance with a query should call 0121 329 6000.
