SRA launches research on consumers with family law needs

As part of our planned programme of research, we have commissioned independent research to understand the experiences of consumers in family, children's and social welfare law.

This research, to be delivered by Ecorys UK, aims to address current evidence gaps in these areas of law. It will potentially help us develop guidance or toolkits for firms to inform them how to better support and advise people with legal needs.

Ecorys UK will be conducting a telephone survey and focus groups with consumers in family law, and an online survey of firms offering family legal services. Following completion of the surveys, they will contact selected individuals to participate in in-depth interviews or focus groups.

If you are contacted by Ecorys UK, we would appreciate it if you could take the time to participate in the research. The surveys should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. All responses will be anonymised and findings will only be reported as totals.

Those wanting further information on the study can contact our research team by emailing sraresearch@sra.org.uk.
