Webinar: Using the SRA's Risk Framework to deliver effective outcomes-focused regulation

The SRA is inviting Compliance Officers for Legal Practice (COLPs) and Compliance Officers for Finance and Administration (COFAs), as well as risk managers and other key staff, to attend a one-hour webinar to give an introduction to how it uses its Risk Framework to deliver risk-based outcomes-focused regulation.

The free webinar will take place on Wednesday 15 May from 12.30 to 13.30 and is CPD accredited for one hour.

The SRA's Risk Framework was launched in December 2012 with its Strategic plan at its 'Driving forward regulatory change' event in Birmingham. This webinar provides a not-to-be missed opportunity for those unable to attend the December event who are keen to understand the detail of the SRA's new risk framework.

The presentation will look at the Risk Index which is the SRA's catalogue of risks to the achievement of regulatory outcomes in the Legal Services Act 2007 and will discuss the risk management process the SRA applies for identifying, assessing and managing these risks.

Delegates will hear how this risk-based approach ensures that the SRA can prioritise resources and apply them proportionately depending on the likelihood and impact of any identified risk.

Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information and to book a place, visit
