Question: We are fast running out of storage space for old files and other documents, so are intending to destroy the older files. Before doing so, we wanted to check how long the SRA expects us to keep the files.

ARP: Tough policy pays off
Wendell Arnold, a former director of Arnolds Solicitors in Swansea, was recently suspended for 18 months at the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal when two allegations of breaching the Solicitors' Indemnity Insurance Rules for failure to pay the assigned risks pool (ARP) premium and one of failure to cooperate with the SRA were proven.

SRA YouTube channel subscribers receive email alerts when we publish new video clips. Although our YouTube channel was only launched in February, a recent survey revealed more than 6,000 people had viewed our content, with a clip explaining student enrolment the most popular choice.
