The SRA 's annual programme of Regulation Roadshows has already started, with the first being held in Llandudno on 31 March—the same day as LDPs came into existence. The following day we were in Manchester, where the response from the profession was so overwhelming that we had to insert another session into the programme. Nine roadshows are planned all over the country up until November, including visits to
- London,
- Ealing,
- Birmingham,
- Leicester,
- Preston, and
- Leeds.
Three of the roadshows at Birmingham, Leicester and Preston will include a focus on issues of particular interest to black and minority ethnic solicitors, and workshops modelled on a pilot event which proved very successful last December in Birmingham. Solicitors in the area concerned will receive an invitation to attend the event about one month beforehand.
