A warning was issued on 10 February 2012 concerning information that was received by the SRA indicating that an office that was operating at Carfax Chambers, 2 Woodgate, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 2TY (telephone number 01509 261823) under the name Parmars appeared not to be a legitimate branch office of the solicitor's practice, Parmars. Parmars had a branch office at the Carfax Chambers address but it ceased to operate by October 2011 at the latest.
Parmars of 120 London Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE1 0QS was a solicitor's practice regulated by the SRA and operated as a sole practitioner firm by principal Mr Dinesh Parmar.
Parmars was intervened and effectively closed by the SRA by resolution dated 14 March 2012.

Information has subsequently been received indicating that other offices may be being operated in the name of Parmars Solicitors at
- 201 Coventry Road, Birmingham, B10 0RA;
- Suite 308b Bradford Court, Bradford Street, Birmingham, B12 0NS;
- Bradford Court Suite 207, 123 Bradford Street, Birmingham, B12 0NS.
Any business or transactions operating from the Carfax Chambers address or via the telephone number (01509 261823) or from the other three addresses are not undertaken by a solicitor's practice authorised by the SRA, and are not regulated by the SRA. Money should not be sent to anyone operating from these addresses.
Any dealings with the offices at these addresses, particularly if it involves the payment of money, should be reported urgently to the SRA red alert line on 01926 4396731 or 0845 8500999 or redalert@sra.org.uk, or to the police.
