Character and suitability

The SRA Suitability Test 2011, which forms part of the SRA Handbook, replaced the previous character and suitability guidelines on 6 October 2011.

The following applications are now assessed under the new Suitability Test:

• new applications for certificates of eligibility under the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme Regulations, or notifications or disclosure of suitability matters, and
• new applications for student enrolment or notifications or disclosure of suitability matters.
