Please register to begin the online application process, which is open to students who wish to commence a 2013/2014 Legal Practice Course (LPC).

You may start the Legal Practice Course (LPC) only if we have approved your application for student enrolment. This is a regulatory requirement (see SRA Training Regulations 2011, regulation 12). Anyone who starts the LPC without a communication from us approving their enrolment application and confirming completion of the academic stage of training faces serious inconvenience and disappointment, as they will not be permitted to continue their studies.

You should also register below to apply online for an exemption from the Common Professional Examination or for a certificate of academic standing.

When you register, you are creating a web account with the SRA and the Law Society. The SRA is the independent regulatory body of the Law Society.

If you don't have a credit card or debit card, if you have previously applied to us for student enrolment, or you have made applications for a certificate of academic standing or exemptions from the CPE in the past and been given an SRA number that does not begin with "007", please don't register or try to apply on this website. Instead, please complete an offline application.
