How to apply

You will need to create a mySRA account if you don't already have one.

Before you apply for admission, you must have completed your screening, which is a separate process, carried out by Atlantic Data. Learn more about how to apply.

There is also an option to complete an early character and suitability assessment prior to admission if you think you may have issues.

Applying for admission

Once you have your screening results, you can log in to your account to apply for admission, choosing the route that applies to you at the start. These are:

Fee

The admission fee is £100. You can pay by credit or debit card.

Our service level

We aim to admit you within 30 days, unless there is a character and suitability issue.

There is a separate fee for a practising certificate. Find out how to apply for a practising certificate.

Registered European lawyers

The admission fee for registered European lawyers (REL) is £500.

Our service level

We aim to decide on an REL application within four months.
