What is the scam?
The website 'www․colemansolicitors․com' is operating, falsely claiming to be for a firm of solicitors with offices in London and Norfolk.
The website provides the telephone number "+44 744 094 0952", fax number "+44 203 984 8465", email address enquiries@colemansolicitors․com and postal address 45 Jermyn Street, London, SW1Y 6LX, England. It also gives the SRA number of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below).
The website also misuses the names and/or photographs of a number of genuine solicitors (see below).
The SRA does not authorise or regulate a firm of solicitors called "Coleman Solicitors". Any business or transactions undertaken through the above website or through the above contact details is not undertaken by a solicitors’ practice or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

A faxed letter has been sent to a member of the public which appears to be sent from 'Coleman Solicitors'. The faxed letter is written in German and claims to be sent from "Andrew Nicholson". The SRA understands the letter refers to an unclaimed inheritance.
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called Andrew Nicholson, who has confirmed that he is not connected to the faxed letter referred to above.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Colemans Solicitors LLP, whose SRA ID number is 459897. The genuine website for the firm is www.colemans.co.uk and its genuine office is at 5.1 Switchback Office Park, Gardner Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 7RJ. The genuine telephone number for the genuine head office is 01628 631051, its genuine fax number is 01628 622106 and its genuine email address is email@example.com.
The SRA also authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Capron and Helliwell Solicitors whose offices are based in Norfolk .
The SRA also authorises and regulates a number of genuine solicitors called Lindsay Little, Elizabeth Collyer, Brynley Clarke, Nicola Lucking and Timothy Quint all of whom are employed at the genuine firm of Capron and Helliwell Solicitors. It also authorises and regulates two genuine solicitors called Richard Tinkler, one of whom is employed at the genuine firm of Capron & Helliwell Solicitors and a genuine solicitor called Andrew Nicholson.
None of these genuine solicitors are believed to be connected to the website referred to in the alert above. The website referred to in the above alert also misuses the names and/or photographs of three other members of staff from the genuine firm.
The genuine firms of Colemans Solicitors LLP and Capron & Helliwell have confirmed that they are not connected to the website referred to in the alert above.
