The website 'https://centurytrade․co․uk' is claiming to be based at the offices of Blacks Solicitors LLP in Leeds․
What is the scam?
The SRA has been informed that the website "https://centurytrade․co․uk’ is falsely using Blacks Solicitors LLP in Leeds as its contact address․
The website provides the contact address of: "Blacks Solicitors LLP, City Point, 29 King Street, Leeds LS1 2HL"․ This is the name and address for a genuine law firm (see below), but as noted below the genuine firm have confirmed to the SRA that they have no knowledge of or link to the website or organisation․
The website is not a website for a firm of solicitors authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Blacks Solicitors LLP, whose head office address is City Point, 29 King Street, Leeds LS1 2HL.
Blacks Solicitors LLP have confirmed to the SRA that they have no genuine connection with the website referred to in the above alert.
What should I do?
