Warning: Documents purported to be prepared by 'Cravath & Mckenzie Law Group'

Documents and invoices have been created purporting to be prepared by 'Cravath & Mckenzie Law Group' in relation to a financial compensation matter.
What is the scam?
The SRA has seen invoices which purport to be prepared by 'Cravath & Mckenzie' providing an address of Coach House Yard, Hamstead, London NW3 1QF (see below).
The documents seen by the SRA also misuse the name of the Financial Conduct Authority and the Bank of England Prudential Regulation Authority. The addresses used in the documents are First Floor, 239 Kensington High Street, London, W8 6SA (see below) and '21 Turdor Street, London, EC4Y 0DJ'.
The SRA does not authorise and regulate a firm called 'Cravath & Mckenzie' nor does it authorise or regulate a firm called 'Cravath & Mckenzie Law Group'.
Any business or transaction through 'Cravath & Mckenzie' or 'Cravath & Mckenzie Law Group' is not undertaken by a solicitors' practice or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a firm called Solomon Taylor & Shaw LLP whose head office address is 3 Coach House Yard, Hampstead High Street, London NW3 1QF.
The SRA authorises and regulates a firm called Abbas Media Law Limited whose head office address is First Floor, 239 Kensington High Street, London, W8 6SN.
The SRA also authorises and regulates a firm called Jones Day whose head office address is 21 Tudor Street, London, EC4Y 0DJ.
The genuine firms have confirmed that they have no connection to the invoice or documents referred to in the above alert.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (eg. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
