Helping you prepare for Standards and Regulations

Ahead of November’s introduction of our new Standards and Regulations, we have published guidance explaining some of the key areas of change.

Shorter and placing more trust in your professional judgment, the new regulations will make it easier for you to run your business while offering greater flexibility in how you operate.Focussing on areas such as Accounts Rules, authorisation, equalities and diversity and acting with integrity, the new guidance is designed to help you understand what the coming regulations will mean to you on a day-to-day basis, and where they present opportunities to potentially do things differently.

Guidance aimed specifically at Registered Foreign Lawyers, solicitors working in unregulated organisations and solicitors in the not-for-profit sector has also been published.

More guidance will be released over the coming months, with the new regulations also set to be one of the key themes at October’s Compliance Officers Conference, which takes place in Birmingham on 30 October. Places can be booked next month.
