Declaration of a new Training Principal
This form is used to notify the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) of a new Training Principal under the SRA Training Regulations 2014.If there are any trainees at your firm/organisation who currently have a training contract under the SRA Training Regulations 2011 and your training principal has changed, you must apply for approval of this change using the training principal declaration (PDF 2 pages, 73K).
The declaration below should be completed by a manager of the Authorised Training Provider on behalf of the organisation.
You must read the SRA Training Regulations 2014 Part 1 – Qualification and Provider Regulations and the related guidance prior to completing the form.
Please note the role of any previous Training Principal must also be ended. This can be through the organisation’s mySRA profile.
