Changes in October 2011
The Solicitors' Indemnity Insurance Rules 2010 were replaced by the SRA Indemnity Insurance Rules 2011 on 1 October 2011. The SRA Indemnity Insurance Rules 2011 forms part of the SRA Handbook.
The Minimum terms and conditions 2011 are published as Appendix 1 of the SRA Indemnity Insurance Rules 2011, in the SRA Handbook.

Solicitors' firms must obtain professional indemnity insurance in accordance with the Solicitors' Indemnity Insurance Rules.
This cover must meet the minimum terms and conditions. It may be provided by a qualifying insurer or via the assigned risks pool.
