‘David Corp LLC’ is operating falsely claiming to be a law firm.

What is the scam?

'David Corp LLC' is operating falsely claiming to be a law firm providing legal service in various areas of law.

A member of the public was provided with a postal address of '8 Lake View, Potters Bar EN6 5PS. Telephone numbers of '+447418325760' and '+447534424873' and an email address of 'davidcorpllc@outlook.com'.

The SRA does not authorise and regulate a firm of solicitors called 'David Corp LLC'.

Any business or transaction through the above contact details are not undertaken by a solicitors' practice or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

What should I do?

When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means.
