What is the scam?

The website at 'http://intelligentclaimsmanagement.co.uk/' is operating claiming it belongs to Slater & Gordon (UK) 1 Limited in relation to providing help to recover 'mis-sold PPI claims'.

The website impersonates Intelligent Claims Management Limited by a hoax website and communications.

The website claims that the founder is a solicitor named Negar Yazdani. Slater and Gordon Group and Negar Yazdani have confirmed they have no connection to the website

The website provides an email address of 'info@intelligentclaimsmanagement.co.uk' and a telephone number of '0800 208 1083'.

The website misuses the name, registered address and company registration number of a subsidiary company of a genuine firm of solicitors and the name of a genuine solicitor (see below).

Any business or transaction through 'http://intelligentclaimsmanagement.co.uk/' or any of the contacts above are not undertaken by a solicitors' practice or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

Intelligent Claims Management Limited is part of the Slater and Gordon Group and a subsidiary of Slater & Gordon (UK) 1 Limited which is authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Intelligent Claims Management Limited genuine address is 58 Mosley Street, Manchester, M2 3HZ. The company number is 05658734, none of which are believed to have any connection to the above matters. There is also no genuine website for Intelligent Claims Management Limited.

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor called Negar Yazdani.

Slater and Gordon Group and the genuine Negar Yazdani have confirmed that neither have any genuine connection to the website referred to in the above alert.

What should I do?
