Intervention panel tender bids invited

As the independent regulatory body for solicitors and law firms in England and Wales, we exercise statutory powers to close down (or ‘intervene in’) law firms. We maintain a panel of law firms (intervention agents) to help us carry out this work.

We are looking to appoint a new panel to work in partnership with us and each other to deliver intervention services as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Intervention agents will be required to:

  • operate across England and Wales and offer the capacity to handle potentially significant workloads at short notice
  • cover the full span of intervention services, which include assessing live client matters, prioritising these matters, and potentially acting for those clients if time-sensitive, eg completing house moves.

We promote and support the highest professional standards. Applicants must have a sound disciplinary and complaints history. An excellent record on negligence claims is also vital.

We will send you a Request for proposal document, including detailed information about the tender process, after you have completed a non-disclosure agreement.
