The website 'www.solicitorsagencyltd.com’ is operating and falsely claiming to be for a law firm based in Uckfield, East Sussex.
What is the scam?
The website 'www.solicitorsagencyltd.com' is operating and claiming to be a for a law firm called 'The Solicitors' Agency Services Limited'. It refers to being registered at Companies House under No.04243839.
The company number is that of a genuine company called 'The Solicitors’ Agency Services Limited', but it is not a firm of solicitors, does not provide any legal services and does not operate the website 'www.solicitorsagencyltd.com'. Its sole director is Martyn Taylor. He is also compliance officer for finance and administration (COFA) at Ashley Taylors Legal Limited (see below).
The website provides a postal address of First Floor Offices, 11 Horsted Square, Bellbrook Business Park, Uckfield, East Sussex, TN22 1QG. It also provides the telephone number 020 8089 3899 and email address 'info@solicitorsagencyltd.com'.
The website names three solicitors and one advocate as working at the firm: Solomon Golding, Michael Robertson, Martin Scudamore and Martyn Taylor.
Any business or transactions through 'www.solicitorsagencyltd.com are not undertaken by an individual or firm of solicitors authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA does not authorise and regulate a firm of solicitors called 'The Solicitors' Agency Services Limited', nor does it authorise and regulate solicitors called Solomon Golding or Martin Scudamore.
The SRA does authorise and regulate a number of individuals named Michael Robertson and Martyn Taylor but the images used on 'www.solicitorsagencyltd.com' appear elsewhere on unrelated websites, suggesting they are 'stock' images.
