What is the scam?
The SRA has seen an email received from an individual called 'Thomas Bryan' using the email address 'admin@ccjaction.org.uk'.
The email is in relation to an outstanding debt. The email says that 'Thomas Bryan' is a 'Solicitor at County Court'.
The email includes a 'Notice of Attachment of Earning Order' signed by 'Arthur Miller' with the SRA number '61849'.
The SRA does not authorise or regulate solicitors called 'Thomas Bryan' or 'Arthur Miller'.
Any business or transactions through 'Thomas Bryan', 'Arthur Miller' or the email address 'admin@ccjaction.org.uk' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA does not authorise or regulate solicitors called 'Thomas Bryan' or 'Arthur Miller'.
There is no firm or individual with the SRA number '61849'.
What should I do?
