This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.  This is an independent Tribunal which will reach its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Solicitor.  The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which are or include that while in practice as a freelance solicitor:

From around 28 February 2022 to at least around 25 July 2022, he undertook immigration work as a solicitor when he was neither a recognised sole practitioner nor a manager, employee or member of an authorised body;

1. On or around 1 April 2022 and / or 8 July 2023, he provided inaccurate and/or misleading information to the SRA in relation to him undertaking immigration work.

The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
