Outcome of SDT Hearing 

This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. This is an independent Tribunal which reaches its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Respondent. The Tribunal had certified that there was a case to answer. 

The matter was heard on 18 – 25 January 2021.  

Mr. Guise was Struck Off the Roll.

The SDT’s Order and Findings is subject to an Appeal to the High Court (Administrative Court) by Mr. Guise. The Order remains in force pending the High Court’s decision on the Appeal.  

On 21 January 2022, Mrs Justice Cockerill, sitting in the High Court, handed down judgment.

Mr Guise’s appeal was dismissed in its entirety.
