Reasons/basis
- The Panel was satisfied that grounds for intervention existed under Paragraph 1(1)(c) of Schedule 1 of the Solicitors Act 1974 (as amended) as Jayesh Sasdev had failed to comply with the rules made by virtue of Sections 31 and 32 of the Solicitors Act 1974 (as amended).
- The Panel was satisfied that grounds for intervention existed under Paragraph 1(1)(m) of Schedule 1 of the Solicitors Act 1974 (as amended) as it was necessary to exercise the powers of intervention to protect the interests of Jayesh Sasdev’s clients or former clients.
Other information
The first date of attendance was 3 October 2018. However, Mr Sasdev challenged the intervention decision. His challenge was struck out on 28 February 2019.
