SQE2 October 2022 bookings now open

Candidates can now book for the SQE2 assessment, taking place in October. To do this, they must have completed the registration and pre-booking process first. If they need reasonable adjustments, they should make the request as early as possible as part of their pre-booking steps.

To sit this exam, a candidate must have passed SQE1 or have the Legal Practice Course and be using SQE2 (as well as qualifying work experience) as an equivalent to a period of recognised training.

SQE2 April 2022 results

Results for the SQE2 April 2022 sitting will be released on 25 August. We will email candidates week commencing 15 August on how they can access their results and provide more information on the SQE website on this process. We will also publish a statistical report with feedback on the assessments and their performance.

We have updated the SQE website with more information for candidates on understanding what is included in results.

We've published advice for candidates who may be having issues getting their qualifying work experience (QWE) confirmed. This tells candidates what we expect from solicitors, what to do if a solicitor refuses to confirm, and when and how to contact us if they need further help.
