Practising certificate renewals (2024/25)

Practising certificate and registration renewals will take place from 1 to 31 October 2024 (inclusive).
There are no new questions in the applications this year. However, we have reworded the continuing competence declaration that solicitors and registered lawyers make to clarify what we expect from them.

Checking mySRA
Ahead of renewals, it is important that everyone checks their mySRA details. It is essential that the information we hold is correct and complete for all firms and individuals we regulate.
Forgotten username or password
If someone has lost their username or password, they can recover and reset them themselves.
