Warning: Website misusing the name and SRA number of Alyssia King and PSR Solicitors
12 June 2026
A profile has been set up on the website 'www.fiverr.com' misusing the name and SRA number of a genuine solicitor and genuine firm purporting to offer legal services.
What is the scam?
The SRA has been informed that the identity of a genuine solicitor (see below) and genuine firm (see below) is being misused on the freelance services marketplace website 'www.fiverr.com' with the names PSR Solicitors and Alyssia Amanda being used alongside a bogus profile picture.
The profile purports to be for an individual named Alyssia Amanda who is a 'UK solicitor' offering legal services and suggests that the individual is regulated by the SRA misusing the SRA number of the genuine solicitor and genuine firm (see details below).
Any business or transaction through the profile of Alyssia Amanda or PSR Solicitors on the website Fiverr is not undertaken by a genuine individual or firm authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine solicitor by the name of Alyssia King (SRA number 7001888).
The genuine Alyssia King has confirmed that she has no connection to the website 'www.fiverr.com' or the profile referred to in the above alert.
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called PSR Solicitors Ltd (SRA number 560691).
The genuine firm of PSR Solicitors has confirmed that it has no connection to the website 'www.fiverr.com' or the profile referred to in the above alert.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
