Warning: Email claiming to be from 'Grayson Ethan' of 'Ethan & Oakley Law Firm'

An email has been sent from 'Grayson Ethan' an attorney at 'Ethan & Oakley Law Firm' offering assistance for alleged inheritance.
What is the scam?
The SRA has seen correspondence claiming to be from an individual called 'Grayson Ethan' purporting to be a managing partner at 'Ethan & Oakley Law Firm.'
The correspondence refers to alleged inheritance of gold bars and uncut diamonds in a secured designated facility and invites the individual to make arrangements for travel to the UK.
The correspondence includes a firm address of '5 Temple Avenue, Temple, London, EC4Y OHA, UK' as well as the email address of 'graysonethanesq@ethanoakleylf.com' in the signature.
Any business or transaction through the email address 'graysonethanesq@ethanoakleylf.com' are not undertaken by any individual or firm authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA does not authorise or regulate a solicitor called 'Grayson Ethan' neither a firm called 'Ethan & Oakley Law Firm'.
What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
