20 October 2025
Emails and documents have been sent misusing the name 'Beylard Law' and the details of a genuine solicitor in relation to a purported claim in the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom.
What is the scam?
Emails have been sent to a member of the public falsely claiming to be from a genuine solicitor (see genuine solicitor's details below). The emails are in Spanish and misuse the name and SRA number of the genuine solicitor. This website is no longer operating and appears to have been taken down by the domain host. The emails were sent from the email address 'hoffmandavid@beylard.law'.
The SRA has also seen several documents which were sent to the recipient of the emails. This document states the claimants' names as 'Beylard and Associates Law Firm', 'B Legal Ltd' and misuses the name and SRA number of the genuine solicitor (details below). The address provided for the firm is '128 City Road, London, United Kingdom' and the email address provided is 'info@beylard.law'. The phone number provided is '+ 44 208 157 0124'.
The purported Claim Form further includes a bogus stamp that states 'Received, Supreme Court of the United Kingdom' and has an unidentified individual's signature.
The SRA has also seen a purported 'Contract for Services' and 'Power of Attorney' which include a logo stating 'Beylard' and the names 'Beylard Law' and 'B Legal Ltd'. The address provided is '128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom'. These documents are in Spanish and misuse the name and details of the genuine solicitor.
The SRA has further seen a purported invoice from the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom that was sent to the recipient. This document also has a bogus stamp that states 'Received. Supreme Court of the United Kingdom' and the signature of an unidentified individual.

What should I do?
When a firm's or individual's identity has been copied exactly (or cloned), due diligence is necessary. If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
